2007 MES Leadership Conference

On August 17, 2007, the Mississippi Engineering Society (MES) held its second annual leadership conference at the D.P. “Pat” McGowan Workforce Training Center on the Ridgeland Campus of Holmes Community College.  “It is really wonderful to have a facility like this located in Madison County.  The up-to-date audio-visual capabilities and other amenities are a great asset, but the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff complete the package,” said MES President Chris Jones, a lifelong Madison County resident and graduate of Holmes Community College.

MES is a state society of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).  The organizational goals of MES are to represent all Professional Engineers in the state, encourage high standards in education and practice, promote ethical behavior, and advance public awareness of the engineering profession.
